Personality traits
<sub>Wesley is most fascinated by human interaction, constantly observing the people around him and purposely causing trouble just to watch their reactions. Oftentimes he will say things he doesn't mean with a smile on his face, much to the ire of people unfamiliar with his antics. Chaos is music to his ears, but only if he maintains a level of control over it. When faced with real danger he errs on the side of precaution and tries to avoid direct confrontation. He gets utterly flustered when verbally attacked or asked personal questions. 

He is respectful of superiors, elders, and competent people but makes no guarantee that he will behave when not being watched. Give him an uninteresting task and he will become incredibly lazy and will attempt to take as many shortcuts as he can to get the job done. As unreliable as he is, he will protect those who see him as an equal—at least, from afar.

He has a complex about physical contact and intimacy due to slightly traumatic teenage experiences. Despite this, he feels a need to be noticed and will prefer the company of people over being alone. His sense of humor is rather dark but he will laugh at seemingly nonsensical jokes and puns. Sexual innuendos and pop culture references are a mystery to him and are met with a deadpan expression. 

Having been raised with books and scholarly papers he uses language which could be considered snobbish. During his years in uni he picked up some swears which occasionally appear when he is caught off-guard.</sub>

Background
<sub>Wes was born in Denmark but was raised in England solely by his father, who was a geneticist researching Chromatism. Wes’ powers developed at a young age but because of his inability to control them he was ostracized by others out of fear that he would accidentally freeze them upon contact. The only people willing to approach him at this point were his father and his fellow researchers; this interaction resulted in a curious personality with an eye for observation but underdeveloped social skills. At the age of 7 he met Chase after Wes' father took him under his wing; later at the age of 12 he met Lumiere. The three of them stuck together until Wes decided to be homeschooled after middle school.

After high school he attended university in Chromatica as a psychology major only to be kicked out in his second year due to “unethical practices.” Ashamed, he ran away from home but ran into trouble soon afterwards.

The mafia, noticing his power, welcomed him with open arms and offered him the chance to train his abilities while traveling the world. Now he acts as a courier, overseeing the transportation of large shipments of drugs and chemicals between countries. Because of his tendency to run his mouth off he is specifically ordered by his faction to "shut up, get the goods, and leave." He usually fails at one out of three tasks.</sub>

Powers
<sub>Main Ability: Ice
-Wes can freeze anything as long as there is adequate moisture in the air and it is within 5 feet of reach, though if there is a conductor (large bodies of water for example) he can freeze past this distance with enough added effort.
-He has a resistance to cold but if he pushes too hard with his freezing ability he will slow down considerably due to the low temperature affecting his muscles and blood flow. In this state he cannot talk or respond properly until he warms up.
-He cannot form ice into anything complex without a proper mold/container but he can manage several basic shapes on his own (cubes, cylinders, etc). The more geometrically perfect the shape, the longer it takes to form. In combat he does not bother with this and makes irregular ice shards which he can then throw at enemies.
-The lowest recorded temperature he has achieved to date is 235K (-38.15C, -36.67F). He rarely uses this coldness as approaching this limit slows him down and he prefers the agility.

Other Abilities: Weapons/Training
-After joining he has undergone basic gun training but is not a spectacular shot as of yet.
-He knows jujutsu with a focus on knife-wielding moves, but this is only as self-defense. 9 times out of 10 he will attempt to knock down the enemy and run.</sub>

-Whenever he gets upset he will hide in a walk-in freezer or meat locker. (Alternatively, an empty room will do. By the time he leaves it will have turned into a freezer.) He starts to lose it in solitary confinement however, so someone will usually have to pull him out. Please pull him out quickly he starts reciting poems and it's creepy
-He does yoga in the mornings, it's quite relaxing and keeps him flexible.
-During summers and missions in hot climates he is mysteriously popular... This bothers the Wes.
