Personality:
A quiet young man. His default expression is one of concern, but it is not a problem as long as he doesn’t say anything. He is generally compliant unless something troubles him greatly; in such a situation he will speak up. Ezra does not enjoy physical conflict—he tends to retreat if he sees a fight about to break out. However, if it is a matter of words, he will firmly stand his ground. He has difficulty articulating his ideas as he is inclined to see images rather than words in his head but he makes a great effort to choose what he says carefully.
As loyal as he is he remembers the people who have wronged him, and it is hard for him to forgive once the deed has been done. Still, he remains optimistic and often goes along with people who are morally gray or are not outwardly “good.”
Powers/Weapons:
Ezra can summon a fine mist that has similar properties as opium. It can cause euphoria and sleepiness within a minute of contact with the bloodstream (usually via inhalation). Larger/heavier subjects are simply slowed down. Prolonged contact with the haze can result in deep sleep, or in rare worse cases a comatose state or death. Long-term effects include brain damage as well as deterioration of internal organs, but it takes months to years of frequent exposure for that to occur.
-The heavier the mist, the more visible it is.
-More effective in foggy weather, less effective in dry weather.
-Can mostly be avoided by not breathing it in or covering the nose and mouth, is absolutely useless against gas masks. Can be blown away with wind.
-Especially dangerous when combined with hallucinatory/dream-inducing powers.

Ezra was born into a middle-class family as an only child. At an early age his parents discovered that he had protanopia (red color-blindness) which was perplexing since it wasn’t inherited from either side of the family. Avoiding activities that involved strong usage of color, they persuaded him to take various extracurriculars in the hopes of activating some hidden prodigal talents, all of which he endured with few spectacular results. After a few years of cycling through lessons his parents gave up trying to find something that suited him. One day, Ezra, unable to describe an object to his family, decided to draw it out instead. It was then that they realized that they were avoiding his true ability all along.
His memories of being Hypnos came gradually through dreams shortly after he turned eighteen. He didn’t think much of them and dismissed them as fantasies until he began to see a color he had never experienced in his waking life—the color of poppies, spilt blood and dark wine. Because of his curiosity he slipped into an unhealthy phase where he slept more and more, and as a result he hardly left his room after graduating from high school.
Upon receiving an invitation to meet other Blessed Children at Mount Olympus at the age of twenty, he begrudgingly accepted and left his parents a letter explaining his departure. To his surprise, he could see hints of red leaking into his vision when other gods were around. Convinced that coming into contact with more gods could possibly improve his eyesight and thus help him with his artistic pursuits, he decided to stay and be useful to the others.
Miscellaneous:
-Gaming buddies with Asa (Hera) and Shiloh (Ares). Because of his vision he plays without much intention to win, much to the chagrin of Asa.
-Draws in either black/white or blue.
-Keeps a sketchbook on him, which doubles as his dream journal.
